Tartufata Meatballs

Meatballs are a popular dish in different cuisines and have multiple recipes. Here we share an original and exquisite one: Meatballs a la Tartufata

INGREDIENTS

– 250g minced beef

– 250g minced pork

– 1 jar of Salsa Tartufata 125g

– 3 slices of rump-free mold bread

– 1/2 glass of Milk

– All chopped: 1 onion, 1 garlic clove and parsley

– 250g of crushed tomato

– Olive oil, flour, salt, pepper

 

PREPARATION

Soak the bread with the Milk and crush it

Mix the two meats with the crushed bread, the Salsa Tartufata. Salt and pepper to taste.

Form meatballs with your hands, top with flour and fry in olive oil. When ready, remove them and place them on absorbent paper.

In the same paella, remove the excess oil and fry the onion. When the onion is golden, add the tomato, garlic and parsley and fry for about 15mins.

Add the meatballs, cover with water and cook at medium temperature for approx. 30mins.

Serve with pasta, French fries, white rice or as a second dish alone.
