The white Hygrophorus Mushroom (Hygrophorus gliocyclus) are very white, fleshy and have mellow meat. The meat from its hat and foot is excellent and plentiful.
Their meat is soft and combines perfectly with fish and seafood.
The white hyprophorus is exquisite roasted and it also combines well with many other dishes such as stews of meat or poultry.
If purchased fresh or collected from the field, they should be washed thoroughly under running water to eliminate the mucus that covers it. The tissue from its hat should not be removed. Also if their foot is full of dirt, they must be scraped with a suitable tool.
